This month gave me a few challenges. My friends told me, “I should take some time for myself.” I responded, “I can’t.” July was busy shooting two music videos, emceeing some gigs, and teaching entrepreneurship. I didn’t have the time to fully sit down and process the challenges that came to me. To avoid these challenges from haunting me, I buried myself in focus mode to get the things I needed. I set August-September as my month of reflection and mediation on the challenges, but these obstacles kept returning.
I didn’t think I was going to make it through the month. I genuinely wanted to start my August reflection a bit earlier. The thing that kept me going and will always keep me going is the people! I feature my small basketball team in this post because many others like them have taught me to take it one day at a time. They helped me to understand the moments of sadness while uplifting me to perform at my highest. I couldn’t thank them and other people for doing this work. I see my highest potential when they are building me up.
X-Tank at Xavier High School
Every July, I welcome rising 8th graders into a space I once walked 10 years ago. I bring them into the world of creativity by teaching them entrepreneurship. I had the pleasure of working with 18 young men start up businesses that could alleviate people’s pain and offer a solution to people’s needs.
I divided the class into 3 groups where each group was responsible for creating a product or service that would serve the world. You have the ability to check out some of the students work below.
Sharp Sipper:
Like most creatives, I am always on the go. I don’t have time to make my smoothies at home. Wouldn’t it be convenient to have a portable blender? Well, try Sharp Sipper, your affordable, portable blender.
S-Tech:
Most athletes have trouble figuring out what skill they need to improve on. They don’t have data justify recommendation on how to make them a more competitive. athlete With S-tech, athletes have the ability to track their progress in their respective sport and get quality recommendations on improvements.
EcoCleaner:
One of the big issues these days with food is how it is cleaned. It is both bad for the environment and for humans. With EcoCleaner, the company will be manufacturing in-home appliances where anyone can give their food the deepest clean ever while protect the body and environment.
Jxhar Comes Home
Tuesdays have become an emerging day to do shows. This is the second time I have seen an emerging artist successfully shut down a venue this year. This time with an artist I have spent many years developing, Jxhar.
Jxhar has been rocking with me since 2017. I have taken him to Syracuse, LA, and many more places to continue his music journey. We have worked on six albums together since the meeting. We have done over 20 shows. Each time he does something, he proves me wrong about his potential, and he did it last Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Jxhar pulled off one of those unexpected. He brought out the most people and had Pianos lit that night. Accompanied by DJ 500k, he brought his community together once again. The crowd was singing, clapping, and dancing to his songs. He was going through the catalog, and it was amazing to see. The night ended at 2 am, one of the songs I helped market in 2018. It brought tears to my eyes. I couldn’t be prouder.
Jxhar will perform in New Jersey on August 18th if you want to see him.
Wizardfest
Wizardfest continues to grow tremendously. There’s truly a love for magic and imagination. I enjoy guiding people through the world of creativity and nostalgia from some of their favorite books, such as Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Hobbit, and more. This past weekend I had the pleasure of touring Syracuse, Poughkeepsie, and Mechanicsburg, where we entered the wizarding world together through trivia, costume contests, and many more activities. I had a fantastic time. I am gearing up for the big run in September down in Florida. For more updates, follow Wizardfest on IG.
Conclusion
As I mentioned before, I will be taking most of August and September off. I will be limiting my interactions on social media and rebranding a few things. I also will be working on a few projects as I continue to transition into Volume 2. Be on the lookout for Jam Young and Pricy newest video , which I had a chance to aid in production and act. Love ya and be safe.
