These last two months have been so packed with a ton of experiences that have changed my life. I had to move my releases on content back because I needed to live in the moment. I have had a ton of conversations in the past where we would have conversation, and I would be excited for an opportunity to arise. It would be a ton of bark, but no spark. Ultimately, nothing came from these conversation. I would be hitting my head and asking myself questions. This led me to doubt my work I did for a ton of creatives.
In these past two months, I have shaken hands with people, seen exclusive content, and more importantly been present to soak up the stuff. It is as my brother, Sandy, tell me, “You are living in surrealism.” One characteristic of surrealism that is prominent in my life currently is the juxtaposition between my aspirations and my reality. However, the juxtaposition has not been there lately, and those two ideas are intersecting. It feels great because now I am ready to take on everything.
This aspiration/dream is really REAL! There’s no turning back now. Henry Rubio, one of my young stars, captured a pure moment with Sandy and me. I am listening to one of his unreleased, and he’s rapping to it. Extremely thankful for this moment. His album, Low Incoming Browsing, inspired this moment, and I want you to check it out. Vibe Check Alabama:
This is a photo that will be hung in my house for ages. Vibe Check is an amazing series of showcases that James, founder of Good Vibes M.I., started. He goes around different states promoting positive energy through the love of DIY by showcasing the amazing the talent from that area. As I know, he has done a Vibe Check in Los Angeles, Illinois, and now Alabama. Alabama is definitely not on people’s radar for music, but I guarantee we going to make it known there due to the saturation of artists in neighboring states like Nashville and Atlanta.
James is a one man army, but you best believe he knows what he is doing. Joel, Aybee, and I go with him to drive him crazy and watch his blind side for things he didn’t see. I trust homie’s vision and calls because he has the dedication. Join us in Quincy, Illinois as we open up for Kirko Bangz. Purchase a ticket if you are in Illinois and want to come out and vibe out.
Bryson Gamble Release Party:
It was an amazing Saturday night. I was invited by Bryson Gamble to his viewing party/birthday celebration for his single, Move. I was able to view the Move music video exclusively. It was definitely a funny music video that shed light on the music industry. Move is a song about confidence. It is about removing the annoyance and disturbance from an artist journey, and focusing on the path the artist choose. So, it was only right that you see Bryson Gamble do… I am just going to save it when the video comes out haha.
Overall, the event was amazing, and it brought community. Food served by Taste of Torii, drinks provided by Captain Punch, and music curated by DJ 500K. Definitely check out these small business and give Bryson Gamble listen below.
Medium Blogs:
It feels good to get back to writing blogs again. DJ 500k told me that I was missing some blogs, and I was shocked. It has been a minute with how the beginning of this year was. I am just glad I am back in a routine. I was able to write one that I think has changed my attitude on the world. It is about creating the reality that one truly wants. Take a look at this one and let me know what you think.
