Introduction

Wow—look how far we’ve come.
I’m sitting in my favorite rental, the 2025 Jeep Compass, on my way to emcee a basketball camp in Brooklyn for a company I once worked for. I’m running on fumes after an incredible night in Philly, hosting one of the best Bingo Loco sets I’ve ever done. The energy was unmatched—the crowd was locked in from start to finish. As always, I closed the show by thanking my DJ, the staff, and the people. Then, out of nowhere, a contestant—clearly tipsy—shouted: “You need to applaud yourself for doing this. Make some noise for the host.” The whole club clapped for me. I was stunned.
I don’t usually celebrate myself or my achievements. Maybe it’s because I still feel like I haven’t found what I’m searching for. As creatives, we often focus on whether people will listen, absorb, and love our work. But in the process, we forget that art itself is an act of self-love. It’s how we show up as the best version of ourselves. The cheers are beautiful only as beautiful when we applaud ourselves. Let’s finish the year with us clapping for us.
Paint Jam at Sour Mouse
A night filled with painting, music, and connection—that’s exactly what PVD Paint Jam was all about. I had the pleasure of hosting this event in August, and the room was nothing short of inspiring. From hearing a wide range of music to learning how different painters bring their visions to life, every moment reminded me of the power of creativity in community.
We may not be “famous artists,” but together we create something bigger than ourselves. Thank you to PVD Entertainment for trusting me to host such a meaningful night.
The Industry
It’s here: Season 1 of The Industry!
This project is my reflective piece on the early years and struggles within the entertainment world. The journey shaped me in ways I never expected, and I’m proud to finally share this work through Vanta Black TV—my second distribution in the film/TV space.
It took two years to get here, but here we are.
Huge thanks to David, Steve, Ivy House, and Upstate Elevator—the driving force behind this campaign. For the first time, I’m opening up about my experiences in both the music and entertainment space, and what it really took to get through those times.
📺 Watch it now by downloading the Vanta Black TV channel on Roku, or purchase the series for just $5.99.
Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this journey. The Industry is one of my favorite projects to date, and I can’t wait for you to see it.
Red in Black #14: NYC Nightlife Social Secrets & Codes
The nightlife scene is taking bigger hits than ever—bars are fighting to survive while consumers feel priced out. But even with these challenges, Thursday through Saturday still holds the key to keeping bars and restaurants alive. At the core, we’re all just trying to stay afloat. That’s where emceeing and event curation come in—bringing people together through bingo, trivia, speed dating, live performances, and more. We’re reimagining nightlife so it’s affordable, engaging, and worth coming back to.
On this episode of Red in Black, I dive into my origins, share my take on the state of NYC nightlife, and break down what’s hurting the industry. The response has been powerful—people I’ve never spoken to are voicing their struggles and stories. This episode isn’t just mine—it’s for the community.
Tune in, and let’s keep the conversation alive.
Conclusion
Learning to applaud yourself is something I’m still getting used to. One thing I’m truly proud of, though, is the network I’ve built. These days, it’s less about the company you work for and more about the people you surround yourself with.
Through that network, I’ve been able to take my name and brand to the next level—becoming a presenter for the NJ Devils and recently joining the Overtime Lunchbox show. Not only did we win the debate, but I was also invited back as a recurring guest.
All of this came from simply being out there, putting in the work, and staying consistent. And trust me—we’re not slowing down. We’re going to keep cooking, keep growing, and keep leveling up from here.
