A Self-Made Path
How I built Sustainability over Stability.
Introduction
I always think about the first event I ran eight years ago in January. I had no idea what I was doing—I just wanted people to show up. I was 19, using a few dollars I made reselling tickets to a GoldLink concert, creating Snapchat geofilters, running ads, and promoting everywhere I could. I wasn’t even old enough to enter a bar, but I was already focused on helping artists take the next step.
Now I’m 27, and I still have that same energy.
That’s called sustaining. This journey has been about the long walk—some steps smooth, some stepping in puddles with soaked socks—but every step mattered. It was never about staying the same, but building something that could grow.
This newsletter holds great news that comes from years of hard work. A lot has changed, including my approach. I’m excited to unlock new heights this year and begin a new path.
Be A Big Mouth Interview
It’s been six years since I graduated from college. The number one thing people love to talk to me about as an adult is stability—usually defined as a consistent income and a routine that creates balance.
In the past five years, I’ve seen a lot happen. One thing that stands out is how many people believe a job automatically brings security and stability.
I’m here to challenge that norm—not just for myself, but for anyone who’s been told that story and accepted it as truth. Through entrepreneurship, we can build our own stability and security, on our own terms.
In this episode of Mr. Big Mouth, I talk about my journey in this space and the moments that forced me to create security and stability for myself. This episode is for the truly self-made—and for those still searching for a path of their own.
We love Corporations
The strategy behind my emceeing career is sharp and intentional. Each year, I challenge myself to step into a new area of event hosting—one that allows me to grow while continuing to stay booked at a high volume.
This year, the focus is corporate events.
Last Friday, I drove to Westborough to host a Marvell Technology bingo event. It was a great experience that pushed me to refine my crowd control and overall approach. I leaned into a more relaxed, chilled hosting style, allowing me to focus on concise jokes and precise timing.
By the end of the night, the crowd was fully locked in and enjoying every moment of the show. Huge thank you to Kristen for organizing such a great event and creating an experience for the people.
Conclusion
Building your own lane comes with perks you can’t imagine. One of the biggest is knowing that anything can happen at any moment—you just have to be ready when it does.
The video captured by my guy PVD was truly a moment for the books, and I couldn’t be more proud to share it with the people who helped me get here—whether you were at the event or part of the steps that led to it.
What you’re seeing is a special story about my journey that will be featured on an incredible platform. This year is going to be special. Once the article drops, I’ll be sure to share it with you.
Until then, continue to follow your own path and find what works for you.

Love the framing of sustainability vs stability here. The point about jobs not automatically bringing security is underrated, especially after watching so many mass layoffs lately. Moving into corporate emceeing as intentional growth is smart; that diversification within your niche seems way more sustainable than chasing one thing forever.
